CommUNITY Dance Fest

“Our goal with CommUNITY Dance Fest is to put the dancers FIRST. Routinely, dancers show up for a performance and have to wait back stage for sometimes hours as their parents get to enjoy the show. “Join West Chester University’s University Dance Company for the third annual Dance for HER 2024! A beloved annual dance fundraising event that has become a highlight of the season, last year’s Dance for HER was a spectacular show that featured the work of the University Dance Company in addition to the best dance studios and choreographers throughout Chester County and beyond. All proceeds go directly to Unite for HER, a West-Chester-based non-profit that provides therapies and services for breast and ovarian cancer patients.”

West Chester Porchfest

…is organized by the West Chester Green Team to build connection, promote community, and celebrate spring in our historic borough.

It’s family-friendly and FREE for all! Performers and hosts volunteer their time and talents/porches and lawns in the Southwest quadrant of the borough – from Church Street to Bradford Avenue and Miner to Dean Streets.

Attendees stroll from porch to porch and relax on front lawns and sidewalks as they enjoy live, local talent on the beautiful porches of historic West Chester. Food trucks and children’s activities add to the festivities!
